It’s essential to test new products first.

Mental effort precedes actual use of the product. Products are not approved for series production until all of the R&D and manufacturing parameters have been coordinated with each other.

SBS makes no compromises in this area, because the safety of the respective application has highest priority. Our customers are able to rely upon the experience of longstanding project teams to this end, who develop custom tailored drive solutions.

After the sampling and test phases have been completed, our solutions are ready for production as finished products – on time. All technical thermoplastics and elastomers can be taken advantage of if plastic has been selected as the desired alternative.

Matte or glossy?

Which plastic is the best? Questions which are not answered with generalisations by SBS, but rather on the basis of the technical and economical aspects of the task at hand.

Whether steel or brass, an aluminium or a zinc alloy, bronze or sintering materials: SBS finds the right material, and also offers heat treating and surface finishing.

And if there’s good reason for the utilisation of technical laminates, we know how to meet our customer’s needs in this areas well.

Admittedly, the earth’s rotation is not the result of an SBS drive solution. But we are able to justifiably claim that we set many things into motion throughput our world: seats, mirrors, windows and doors, shades and shutters, household appliances and garden tools, medical devices, valves, pumps, machines and much more.

And all of this with products which, in light of the attained levels of technical performance, are kept modestly in the background.

Customer-specific drive solutions: SBS develops and manufactures spur gear systems with sandwich or open design, worm gear and bevel gear systems in die-cast or plastic housings, and planetary gearboxes.

These can also be integrated into gear motors, for which motors from international manufacturers are used. With the addition of electronics and other supplementary components, we are also capable of supplying complete systems, right on up to ready-to-install and ready-to-use “finished products”.

Modular Green Line Gearboxes: Investments in tooling account for a large portion of product costs – especially in the case of small to medium quantities. SBS offers modular gearboxes in order to exploit potential savings in this area.

They can be implemented flexibly in many applications in the form of planetary gearboxes, spur gear systems and worm gear systems, as well as peristaltic pumps, and are also available as gear motors and complete systems.
